I won the $2,120 USD prize for the game "Soil and Rubble", the best entry in the 'Simulation' genre. The Indie Game Making Contest is an annual contest hosted by Degica (makers of the RPG Maker application) in which contestants have 1 month to produce a game. The entries are evaluated by a panel of judges. I worked alone in Unity 3D and created all art assets.
I worked alone for this Ludum Dare and the theme was "Entire Game On One Screen". I developed the game within the 48 hour period, placing 19th in the Mood category and 42nd in Humor out of the 2000+ entrants. The game was later featured by Giant Bomb in Zoe Quinn's Top 10 Games of 2014! Inspired by the positive reception of the gamejam game, I created a trailer and posted it on Steam Greenlight.
A disclaimer to those playing the game: It is not what it seems, and you will know when you have reached the end.
